Carpentry
From small scale domestic repairs and upgrades to large commercial works, we have worked on a broad range of sites and projects across the UK. We are equipped to complete first and second fix carpentry, joining a project at whatever stage is needed. Working directly with clients, architects, and other trades to complete works to a top quality standard is our speciality.

We construct brand new buildings and structures, such as cabins, summer houses, garages, porches, and outhouses. We have vast experience in restoration and heritage works, including qualifications in the repair and maintenance of pre-1919 buildings. We are a CSCS Gold card certified business, meaning Coverley Woodwork can supervise works on Grade II Listed buildings.

Framing
Our experience in heavy oak timber framing has taken our skills around the country, constructing impressively designed buildings in the private and commercial sector which will stand the test of time.

We are confident in every step of the framing process, from reading plans, marking out, cutting, dry fitting, draw pegging, and erection. We are also vastly experienced in softwood framing, such as is seen on new builds and encapsulation systems.

Green wood framing is a fantastic option for utilising local materials, which we are lucky to have a bounty of in this region.

Mentoring
Carpentry and woodwork is an ancient trade, passed down through history. We are enthusiastic to take our place in this process, sharing twenty years of experience and passion with the next generation of woodworkers.

We are open to mentoring individuals to empower them to complete projects of their own, up to classrooms of young people and adults willing to learn.

We are DBS checked and take pride in being a safe, steady presence in our learners lives.
